If you’re using Azure AD, either in production or dev, at some point you may want to add a custom domain at some point. This allows you to have your accounts setup as user@yourfancydomain.com instead of user@random.onmicrosoft.com
Luckily this is a pretty simple task, as long as you have the proper access to your Azure tenant and your DNS settings for your domain.
Yes, this is just my test/dev tenant, and all of my users are fake users, but it is still a process I wanted to go through. Plus, I love to organize things, and having a customized domain in my Azure tenant is a way to keep things nice and tidy.
